Straelener Wald was a staple of Brad Richter’s solo concerts from the time it was premiered in 2007 until Brad retired from performing in 2019. It has tremendous cross-over appeal for fingerstyle guitar and was in fact first published in Fingerstyle Gu
itar Magazine in 2009. The title alludes to the forest near Brad’s family home in Germany where he often retreats with his guitar to compose.
