Flirtation and Angular Tango is a contrasting pair of pieces in drop C tuning. Flirtation is reflective and highly ornamented with a clear melodic line and just a hint of the syncopation that dominates its partner piece. Angular Tango moves through odd and frequently changing meters with a variety of articulations across the full range of the guitar. Its rich and dissonant harmonies add a dark twist to the funky rhythmic motifs.
